In Surveilling the surveiller visitors sit down on a chair facing two small security monitors. The images on the monitors are live as you approach it. But as soon as you sit down the monitors show a previous visitor sitting in the place where you are sitting.

Instead of monitoring a location, you monitor the visitors before you, creating an endloos surveillance loop.

In normal situations CCTV is, as the name suggests, a closed system in which the surveilled have no clue how and when they are surveilled. The idea for Surveilling the surveiller is to make an infinite loop in which each surveiller is being surveilled at the same time.
