Apple Watch @ Dover Street Market
For the Apple Watch launch in London I was asked to create the interactivity for a giant heart-shaped sculpture encrusted with 220.000 LEDs (created by Outform).
The heart changes it’s heartbeat according to the number of people inside and around the store and their proximity to the sculpture. The closer people get to the sculpture the faster and louder the beats become.
The audio and animation sync up and are both visible and audible inside and outside the shop.
The system uses a hidden laser scanner to map the room and locate the visitors.
